Humble Beginnings
Hi there! I’m Mike, a full-time web manager, WordPress and SEO specialist.
I started my online career (in 2016) as a copywriter for a US-based digital marketing agency. After a short time with the company, I went freelance, applying for gigs on Craigslist and Freelancer.com.
I really wanted to do more than just writing, so I enrolled for a course in website design and digital marketing, which broadened my skills on HTML, CSS, and SEO.
Mission
While I enjoy most creating new websites, I can also help update your existing one. I’m deeply passionate about solving problems (the mathematician in me, I guess), and redesigning/ improving an existing website allows me to scope out the creativity and capabilities of the original designer.
I recently enrolled in an online cybersecurity bootcamp (starting in July) to learn defensive strategies for countering hacking and other web security risks. With the recent advancements in AI, I believe cybersecurity has become a vital skill for web managers to ensure best performance of a website and help clients protect their users’ and customers’ sensitive data.
